Writing to two bosses

Hi all,

It's my first time writing a business email to the COP and the DCOP (my direct boss instructed me to do it while he is in leave). But I don't know how to address it. Should I use:

  • Gentlemen.
  • Team

  • I can't think about something else.

Please advice and thanks in advance.

Well, if you are positive that they are both men then you could use 'Gentlemen'. I wouldn't use 'team' as it is implying that you are superior or level with them. Sirs?

Sirs?

Dear All? Dear Colleagues? These will cover men and women.

Thank you. I used "Sirs".

Thanks again.
