WRITING TASK2

Humans have always dreamt of a perfect world where their demands and expectations are met. However, despite the endless effort, they have not yet succeeded in creating one that fulfills all of their wishes. I personally believe that we would never reach an ideal society, but several solutions can be practiced for the sake of making a better world.

There are some certain factors that prevent humans from achieving a better life. Firstly, gender equality has been taken into consideration as a major obstacle to combat this challenge. In spite of the positive changes that advanced civilization brings to human’s mindset and behavior, the gap between men and woman’s rights and privileges still exists, stem from the previous assumptions. For example, in India, girls’s education has been under attack because of child marriage and laboring, lead to a lack of knowledge for self-protection and mental problems as well. Secondly, another element that daunted humanity for decades is polluted environment. Even currently, a myriad of citizens agree to keep the

environment the way it is and follow the green lifestyle, corporations, especially in the manufacturing and mining industries, would not as that would affect their profit. For example, in order to produce the energy that drives the world’s economy, most nations rely on carbon-rich fuels like coal, oil and gas, which directly correlates with the intensification of global warming.

Nevertheless, there are also a variety of solutions to reverse this challenge. First, the community should raise awareness of the importance of life without any discrimination and injustice. By bringing seminars which relate to inequality problems into educational lessons and holding feminist campaign, male chauvinism could greatly decline and raise girl’s confidence to pursuit their passion. Second, in order to reduce pollution from industrialization progress, there should be a commitment relating to the responsibilities that they have to assume. For example, if these companies take steps to dispose of waste properly,not only does it benefit to the nature but also the reputation of companies themselves.

In conclusion, although ideal world would be impossible to happen, there are ways to make a better version of our society. The coordination among governments, corporations, and individuals can certainly make a difference in the development of humanity as a whole.
