Writing task 2 youth crime help me evaluate my essay

the best way to reduce youth crime is to educate parents with parental skills. To what extent do you agree or disagree

it is true that nowadays, juvenile delinquency is running rampant. Although some people believe that the best measure to curb this rate is to train parents with parental skills, I think that this measure is only a partial solution, and in order to tackle this problem once and for all, other supplementary should be implemented.

Granted, parental guidance plays an essential role in shaping children’s cognition. Therefore, by educating parents with fundamental skills of disciplining their offspring, children would grow into a law-abiding adult. In other words, inappropriate child rearing may entail many negative consequences. For example, children can become ill-bred and have persistent misbehaviour. In Vietnam, many parents use the form of punishment, which is of physical nature to inculcate code of conducts into their children. As a result, many adolescents are gradually become aggressive due to protecting themselves from getting hurt, encouraging children to engage in criminal acts. Hence, family education is the first process to steer children clear of crime.

On the other hand, I believe that educational systems and educators could also make a significant difference in reducing adolescent criminality. Admittedly, children are likely to susceptible to negative peer pressure, thus, any curiosity can lead them to criminal activities. For instance, many Vietnamese students are become drug addicts due to being lured into using drugs. Therefore, teachers should educate their students with the dangers of addictive drugs. Furthermore, educators should also guide their student into constructive activities such as art and sport. These activities not only discourage children from crime but also boost their spirits.

In conclusion, with a view to reducing youth offence, family and school should play a part in helping children to acquire good virtues.
