When someone catches a cold, instead of making a doctor appointment, she can access information from the Internet and find a variety of results ranging from simple flu to the more serious. As a result, her cold could be cured when following its instruction. Secondly, everyone could receive quick answers to their symptoms via websites about health care. It seems convenient for everyone to ask some questions about their health condition via a chat box on each hospital’s websites or websites about health care. Thence, they will decide that whether they can treat it by themselves or not.On the other hand, applying the information obtained form it could bring people to side effects due to these reasons. One major concern is about the quality of the information on the web. Since there is too much information available, patients also need a medical help from physicians acting as curators of that information to assist them sort out what is helpful and what is not. Then, they can make use of precise information to treat their illness. Moreover, this way is only appropriate for healing simple illness. With serious diseases, such as cancer or cardiovascular diseases, being diagnosed the health condition by the doctor to seek proper treatment is vital. Even though some information on the Internet is valuable, doctors still play an important role in helping someone recover from their illnesses.In short, the Internet aids people to find out more solutions to their illnesses, but they should analyze the information before practicing. It is necessary to visit a doctor with serious diseases.
