Writing task 2 : Travel ( THANKS FOR CHECKING MY WRITING)

This is a true fact to consider that in the present day world has become a global village and the tourism industry has been boosted in many countries due to decreasing the cost of international travel. While it is clear tourism brings obvious benefits to the countries that host tourists, it is also true to say it may bring disadvantages as well.

Undoubtedly, there are significant benefits that tourism brings to a country. Firstly, a thriving tourist industry implies an increasing need for a variety of services such as hotel, restaurants, and entertainment. It creates a lot of job opportunities for people who lack a college education so that the unemployment rate is reduced. Secondly, the development will also increase the country's income. As the number of tourists from the overseas increase, they spend some money in tourism services and these transactions are subjected to tax.

Despite the benefits, there are aspects of tourism that may prove harmful to a country. For instance, environmental damages, the very bad thing of tourists is that they often throw trash on sight-seeing sites. A large number of tourists are coming to the country might destroy natural environment. Moreover, more tourist attraction places are then built, they bring negative impact to the ecosystem. In addition, social evils also increase such as drug smuggling, whoredom, theft,... Mixed cultural can be influenced on the country negatively.

In summary, it is obvious that global tourism is greatly beneficial to an economy of a country. However, it can be detrimental in several ways. I personally believe that it is the government task to make some clear regulations for the tourism sectors, therefore all the positive sides of the industry outweighed the drawbacks.
