Writing task 2 - topic : Government should spend money on railway rather than road. To what extent do you disagree or agree ?

In the present age, infrastructure is one of the top concerns of government as the advancement of transportation is required, resulting in the demand for overpopulation. Regarding to this perspective, many individuals are of the opinions that the government should promote their investment in railway instead of road. In my point of view, I shall put forth my arguments to show my consent to this issue.

To start with, as it is noteworthy that public transport is considered the proper solution to the persistent burden of population as compared to personal transport. Admittedly, the investment in railway expansion of government will boost the growing number of passengers using trains or subways. As a result, this issue is giving rise to the considerable reduce of personal transports and play a major part of preventing congestion. It seems to me that the public transport in some way is much more propitious for the users in comparison with personal one as it takes only 10 minutes to wait for another train instead of wasting several hours in rush hours on road. In addition, railway is of benefit to the government using the underground for construction. As it is a common sight that there is the limitation of nation areas due to the current overpopulation; therefore, underground’s construction is a plausible solution which is responsive to the global problems of area deficiency.

On the other fields, the environment-related problems are also the top priority of human as public transport can sharply decrease the amount of pollution to the atmosphere. Particularly, the electronic transportation is instrumental in reducing the emission of contaminated pollution and there are many electronic railway systems have been built for environment-improved purpose. For instance, In Japan, where there is the advancement of technology, more automatically electronic trains have been using more commonly in public as it brings immense beneficial influences on the healthy environment of their citizens and play a crucial role in the increase of old generation’s rate.

To conclude, railway development makes the striking contribution to the society in terms of overpopulation and environmental problems. Therefore, it is convinced that more funding should be provided to the railway rather than road which approaching to the proper-functioning society.
