Topic:

Some people say that too much attention and too many resources are given in the protection of wild animals and birds. Do you agree or disagree?

It is sometimes argued that the public and environmentalists pay too much attention and make too great investments in birds and wild animals conservation. Personally, I completely disagree with the idea that less attention and fewer resources for the protection of the wildlife.

Attention and resources are necessary for wildlife protection. The discovery of endangered species required greater concentrations from groups such as environmentalists, biologists and researchers, who will find ways to save many types of animals from the verge of extinction. For instance, the lives of thousands of Bengal tigers are in jeopardy as a result of illegal hunting, and biologists raise the tigers’ offspring in a safe zone to keep them from outside dangers before releasing them to the nature. Without much attention and innovative biological method for animal conversation, many species are likely to suffer from decrease and disappearance.

The government and environmental organizations should make greater investments in birds and animals protection. Firstly, the government should impose strict punishments on activities that may harm wild animals such as hunting for food or for pleasure and put animals trading under control. Secondly, governmental funding for conversation should be increased by building more zoos and artificial habitats to preserve animals or encouraging research on biological methods that help rare animals to breed. Finally, journalists and researchers should give more information about endangered animals on print and electronic media to raise the public’s awareness about wildlife conversation.

In conclusion, wildlife protection should be given much attention and much resources as possible from the public.
