Writing Task 2: Today more and more people are using mobile phone and computer. Thus, people are losing the ability to communicate face to face. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is sometimes argued that using technology devices have a negative impact on face to face interactions between people. I completely agree with this idea.

There are some reasons why mobile phones and computers usages increase dramatically in recent years. Firstly, people can easily access a world of knowledge straight after their devices connected to the Internet. Therefore, not only would they search for any information that they need but they could also book a fight or buy something through smartphones as well. Secondly, there are a variety of games interesting people on mobile phones and computers. All games having lively animation and some contests and some challenges attract gamer’s attention. As a result, people becoming addicted to playing games on that.

Since more and more people who use technology, this will affect the social skills of the generation. The fact that people spent almost their time focusing on cell phones or computers, they no longer want to join some outdoor activities. As a result, they have a hard time making new friends and don’t even know how to build a strong relationship or how to manage conflicts. In addition, by using cell phones for a long time, people can lose their aims. My close friend, for instance, is so addicted to chatting and playing games on his smartphone. So that he no longer want to pursue higher education and usually got bad scores in his exams.

In conclusion, I believe that the usage of mobile phones and computers can restrict face to face communication between people.
