Some people say that History is one of the most important school subjects. Other people think that, in today's world, subjects like Science and Technology are more important than History.

Discuss both these views and give your opinion.

These days, students have to learn many subjects at school and people also argue about the importance of some subjects. Some people think that History is one the most vital subjects while the others claim that subjects like Science and Technology are in greater importance than History. Both will be under discussion in this essay. In my opinion, every subject is at the same importance for only one reason.

History is believed to be one of the most important subjects for two main reasons the historical evidence and recognition for people's efforts. Firstly, mankind has experienced such a long time of many significant milestones before we can live in this modern world. Therefore, History is crucial because it is a record of those events and it provides people the evidence to study further in other fields. For example, we hardly understand why people can evolve from apes without learning prehistoric era. Secondly, History helps people appreciate the convenient life nowadays. This is because most of inventions such as electricity and telephone are introduced for the first time centuries ago. That is only through History, can people aware and honor those brilliant inventors.

However, many people put science and Technology subjects into greater importance because they enhance cognitive abilities and make people with outstanding research a public figure. It i obvious that Science and Technology subjects require people to master in analyzing, critical thinking and logical thinking. As a result, students through those lessons will develop their cognitive skills. Besides, people who have valid scientific research in Science or Technology are more likely to be renowned than those in History field.

In my opinion, every subject has it own importance. Whatever subjects people learn, they will also gain knowledge about our life and our universities.

In conclusion, while History subject provides crucial evidence and force us to recognize one's effort, Science and technology subjects improve cognitive skills and contribute to one's reputation. Therefore, I believe they are at the same of importance and people should balance the time they learn between each subject.
