Writing Task 2: Please help me with my essay

Topic: Cycling is more environmentally friendly than other forms of transport.

Why is it not popular in many places? And how to increase its popularity?

Cycling, instead of other means of transport consuming fossil fuels, has ben widely believed to reduce environment deterioration. Surprisingly, it is not highly recommended by people in a variety of nations. The reasons for this issue and measure which can be taken to widespread this policy would be proposed in this essay.

In spite of its undoubtedly advantages, using bicycles requently hasn't become a popular trend because of both impersonal and personal reasons. The most obvious matter is that cycles are argued not as convenient as other forms of transport such as car, motorbike, underground,... It can be explained that nowadays, people are intended to live far from their workplace. Therefore, it takes them much more time and efforts to go to work everyday by bicycle than by vehicles above. Another reason is the lack of facilities serving bicycle user such as ground space for keeping their possessions while working. They also increase the need of seperate road lanes since it's impossible for bicycle and cars to move together.

On the other hand, there are several actions that could be taken to eradicate the problems that people have no interest in going by bicycle. In the first place, it's essential for goverments to announce the regulations which limit the time cars going through the city center and provide public cycling services and facilities. As a result, people are encouraged to cycle frequently. In addition, it has been suggested that goverments and non-profit organizations should co-operate for infuential campaigns and projects which raise the awareness of benefits cycling brings about.

In conclusion, cycling, regardless of its positive influences on the global environment, has not gained in popularity with people over several years due to a number of reasons and government immediately takes serious actions to mitigate the ignorance about this potential problem.
