Some people prefer to stay in the same type of work all their life, and others prefer to change their jobs from time to time. Discuss both sides and state your own opinion.

Some people do a constant job in their own living, and others rotate their career periodically. While it can be argued that people should do a lifelong kind of work, I believe that it would be better if we have opportunities to experience the diversity of jobs.

There are several reasons why some people prefer to stay in the same type of work all their life. Human tend to be satisfied with a tranquil life. It is due to the fact that they are afraid to change. For instance, in many countries, especially in developing countries, most people attend school to complete their degree, then find a job which has a friendly workplace, well-paid salary, and nearby office. Moreover, some people have a large number of obstacles preventing them from switching jobs. For example, financial needs require them to do a constant job in order to have a stable income; or they have to devote to their family and do not have any spare time to try a new one.

Despite the above argument, I believe that people should do a large number of jobs all their life. Firstly, experiencing numerous work will give people more chance to gain knowledge and skills. This might be because, in order to do an official job, they are required to have firm know-how. Moreover, the rotating career periodically means that people could find their strength and weakness through working. They can have a comprehensive view of their capacity.

To sum up, choosing the kind of job which is best suited is up to each person’s viewpoint. For the reasons mentioned above, it seems to me that people should do several jobs periodically if they have healthy finances and no burden.
