Writing task 2 ( please, help me it is a difficult topic to me)

Many people assume that the goal of every country should be to produce more materials and goods.

To what extent do you agree or disagree that constantly increasing production is an appropriate goal?

Answer:

There are differing views about whether a country should solely put emphasis on production or not. In spite of some supports, I would argue that it would be better for the government of each nation to spend equal resources on both creating profitable products and other relevant important issues.

On the one hand, those who are in favor of this opinion have their own arguments. The advocates suppose that the single focus on developing the process of production may significantly bring about profits for companies and factories. This can lead to a significant rise in the living standard of workers and in turns the well-being of society. Additionally, a higher amount of tax contribution from rich entrepreneurs can also be considered as the monetary funds for investing other priorities such as expanding roads or public health care.

On the other hand, I believe that increasing the production of various kinds of goods needs to be placed parallelly with the protection of the environment on which we live and educational improvement. It is a fact that there are several factories or plants which discharged the untreated emissions directly into the atmosphere or water bodies without concerns from authorities for the sake of solely minimizing overheads. As a result, this lack of awareness of preserving the environment is extremely like to impair the quality of the air we breathe and the ground water we use on daily basis, contributing to the risks of some respiratory disease or even cancer. Moreover, synchronic efforts to accelerate both production and education are obsoletely essential as only a well-funded education can create the qualified and well-trained workforce for developing industry and other manufacturing sectors.

In conclusion, I am still convinced that there are many equally important targets which are worth pouring money beside generating materials.
