Writing task 2 - please help me correct it

With the improvements in today’s health care, society has to care for more and more elderly people.

Do you feel that society will be able to cope with the increase in numbers of elderly people today and how can it be managed?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Although there are the developments in healthcare systems, taking care of the increasing older people puts a burden on their governments. However, I believe that by the proper measures, each country can tackle the health issue of their old population.

I strongly argue that society has a responsibility towards the older people and caring for them can be handled because of the advance in science and technology and residential home systems. In many developed countries, governments apply the improvement of medicine as well as the remote observation on controlling elderly parents. CCTV cameras systems, which would be a good instance of those things, are set up in the four corners of their houses. Besides, nowadays care homes provide a professional service for senior citizens. For example, nurses and care workers are better trained than family members in nurturing the older people on a daily basis.

There are several methods to solve the increase in numbers of the old generation. First, state healthcare, including residential homes for retired workers, is paid by the government using money from taxes. This means it would be available to them for free. Second, every old person has access to the same quality of care and treatment, which means that the wealthy and poor people can be affordable. For instance, the National Health Service in the UK provides free healthcare for every resident.

In conclusion, with the advance in all of socio-economic aspects, I completely feel that nations can have a wide range of ways of managing the development of the numbers of the old people.
