Writing task 2 please help me check my essay

Topic: It is often said that Government spend too much money on projects protect wildlife, while there are other problems that are more important? Do you agree or disagree?

My answer:

Spending of government has been gaining a great deal of attention. While some people argue that the stage budget should be invested in protecting flora and fauna, others opine that it would be better to spend this money on other more essential sectors. This essay is to explain why I agree with the first statement.

On the one hand, it is not quite difficult to understand why some people consider that there are many more important areas, such as economy, education, health care, or poverty, which need the financial support from the state rather than wild life. First, if a country was in a situation of economic downturn, it would be not able to finance other sectors. Besides, many schools also need funds to improve its availably poor facilities as well as the poor are required the authority to provide accommodation to ensure their lives. Therefore, governments must spend money on these sectors.

On the other hand, I believe this is to be a very short-sighted view, although some other vital areas that need the support from government, environment also is one of the most key issues that needs most of the attention. The prominent reason for this is that wildlife protection is also the same mean of conserving the environment. In contrast, if plants and animals is not protected, this is likely to lead to climate change and global warming. If this is the case, these phenomena will cause the melting ice in Antarctica, resulting in a wide range of disasters such as floods, tsunamis, earthquakes, or epidemic. These extremely serious problems will be a direct threat to human and animal life throughout the earth.

In conclusion, I personally agree with the view that governments should focus more on preserving and improving wildlife to avoid seriously natural disasters.
