In recent years, sports stars have become increasingly famous and wealthy. For some this is a benefit, raising the profile of sports, but for others it is a negative influence. Discuss both views and give your own view.

Nowadays, well-known sports players are becoming more and more affluent and popular. Some people think sports can benefit from their players' fame and assets, while others worry about its drawbacks. In my opinion, the increase in the wealth and the popularity which make a profit for the players as well as the country can result in some social problems in their own countries.

Let's begin by looking at the advantages of widen the fame and the wealth of sports stars. One of the main positives of this issue is that it raises the future opportunity of the players. Top-class sports celebrities rely on income from commercial sponsorship to pay for expensive coaching, fitness and training facilities. The bigger wealth and fame help them to take more chance to valuable exposure to their fans and their influential figures in their professions and to improve their careers in the long term basis. Secondly, the countries can take advantages of their famous sports players. Obviously, popular and rich sports players also suffer from taxation with the rate according to the written income. Therefore, governments take a grant of collecting a great deal of tax from the wealthy. Besides, Take World Cup as an example. It is so proud for a nation to win over in the global football games because of the talent players who were nurtured in their own country.

Turning to the other side of the discussion, the future of the youth is the major problem. People, teenagers in particular, who are attracted by fame and assets the sports players have achieved can easily gain misunderstanding of the kind of job and try their best to take part in this job due to the luxury outside instead of real passion in sports as a result. Another issue is that it is difficult to narrow the gap between the rich and the poor. In the country without the social equality, it is unavoidable to face up to social problems such as crime, anti-social behaviors. This can take time and will be challenging for governments to meet the demands of every class in the society, both materialistically and spiritually.

All things considered, the increasing reputation and assets of well-known players are never simple. This leads to the pros of raising the profile of the players and their own country as well and the cons of the differences among the social classes and the youth's wrong choices. Personally, i believe the benefit in the term of the personal and national growth outweighs the negatives.
