My essay:
Recent days, the problem of whether physical elements or mental elements are more vital for sport achievement has been receiving a great deal of public attention. While some arguments suppose that people should focus on mental strength, both mental and physical elements have their own distinct merits.
On the one hand, there are some major reasons why physical fitness plays an important role in sport success. First,physical health allow athletes to perform his duites to the fullest extent in sport. In fact, many famous wrestlers such as Dat Tp and Dat Lam Long in the world will not have any chance of winning any match if he is not strong enough to wrestle the contenders. Second, physical health helps athletes make their passion come truth. In football, for example, a match requires player continously run in 90 minutes and professional skill, therefore, people have health problems such as low blood pressure or heart disease can struggle to practice, even become footballer.
On the other hand, some people believe that mental fitness lead an individual or team to win in any sports. The principal reason is that positive mental visualisation to help them achieve success. In the field of athletics, negative think in some people maybe preventing them from maximising chance of success since they too pressured by malicous commnets from public, which was carried out by PT Dat, an adjunct professor in Vietnam university. Another factor is a positive outlook helps people to overcome difficulties in career process. For instance, majority of athletes can feel strong enough to achieve gold medal because they maintaining a positive attitude, or receive energy from coachs or cheerleaders, which helps the athletes have more determination to practice day by day whether it is hard or not.
In conclusion, although some people think mental fitness is more important than mental attitude for sport success, I consider all the elements are essential for sport. The two elements complement each other perfectly and help people take steps toward victory.
