Writing Task 2

Some people believe that eventually all jobs will be done by artificially intelligent robots.

What is your opinion?

A growing number of artificially intelligent robots are occupying jobs previously done by humans. Although robots may replace humans in jobs not requiring a certain set of social skills, jobs mainly involving human interaction may not be taken over by robots. This essay will discuss why some jobs will remain in the hands of humans.

Machines may replace human in easy jobs which do not need the ability to communicate with humans in a complex way. These jobs can be done by programming robots without tiresome orienting and hiring process of human workforce. In Japan, for example, most restaurants are run by the robots which are of a far less risk of error than humans. For these reasons, jobs that can be done by machines Will be replaced by robotic forces.

Conversely, there are some jobs that will need humans as their occupants. To put it simple, some jobs must be under control of human brain and skills. The example of such jobs are those concerning psychology, medicine and moral teaching. In the mentioned occupations a robot can not think and feel instantly and give a proper response. All in all, robots will not delete humans from certain jobs dealing with human potentials.

To sum up, a significant number of jobs will be completely done by machines in a not too distant future. Unskilled labor will be done by artificially intelligent robots; however, certain complicated jobs will always be done by humans. Ultimately, only a very small number of human jobs will remain unoccupied by the robots. These jobs will be certainly based on distinguished human potentials.
