Essay & Composition Writing

Writing task 2 number 10

Some people believe that it is good to share as much information as possible in scientific research, business and the academic world. Others believe that some information is too important or too valuable to be shared freely. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

Thanks a lot for correcting my previous essay. Here is my next essay. I hope you can correct it soon. Thank you.

It is thought that sharing a vast amount of information related to science, business and the academic world can bring benefits. Others, however, believe that there are some kinds of information that can not be shared freely because of its value and importance. In my view, some information should be kept secret.

The main reason why we should share information about science, business and academy is that it can help to open one's mind. Some kinds of news are likely to be posted on the internet where people can get access easily. Therefore, they have more chances to understand the world, and they will be aware of what scientists are doing.

On the other hand, I am convinced that some information needs to be kept secret. First, some companies may have their own confidential information which are not allowed to be released. If they launch every detail of their business such as marketing strategies, they could have to cope with many problems such as losing money or becoming bankrupt. Second, sharing information freely can pose a serious threat to our society. Bad people may intend to steal any important information on the internet for their own purposes, causing damage to others. In Vietnam, a number of lazy students are reusing others' dissertation because they do not want to spend time completing their own ones. Therefore, they make use of free online essays without any difficulty, leading to work force of poor-quality.

In conclusion, scientists, businessmen and others should conscious about what kinds of information should be shared and what should not to guarantee them not to be misused.
