In today’s world, people are critically lack of comprehension about our nature. Although there are several underlying causes of this issue, some measures can be taken to promote people’s awareness about the natural world.

Granted, the rise of technology and industry have distanced us superficially from nature. In fact, by providing various leisure opportunities and convenience to people, technology has been becoming the most attractive topic in our society. As a result, instead of exploring the natural world, many people especially youngsters opt to immerse themselves into technology products such as smartphone or laptop by hours on ends, leading to public’ s low awareness of the importance of nature. Furthermore, economic development is also the key factor in creating this problem, which is concomitant with the increase of workload and the financial pressure in many places. Therefore, employees have to work incessantly every day. Consequently, people solely concern about the subject which bears direct relevance to their job

However, some solutions could be implemented to mitigate this problem. Firstly, educational systems and educators should provide more extracurricular activities and mainstream academic contents should be incorporated with lessons about the natural world. By putting these measures into practice, students not only would wean themselves of relying on technology but also encourage nature to grow on them. Secondly, the essential role of nature should be broadcast on TV, social media regularly. This could help busy people to acquire knowledge about nature without spending their time to seek for information.

In conclusion, economic development is the main factors encouraging people to ignore the vital role of nature. However, by providing and disseminating this importance in many places, the problem can be tackled.
