WRITING TASK 2 IELTS: CHILDCARE CENTERS VS GRANDPARENTS

Hi this is my essay, thanks for your review in advance. Would you mind focusing on evaluating my word choice, task performance, grammar, coherence, and cohesion?

Task 2: Some people think that childcare centers provide the best services for children of preschool age. Other working parents think that family members such as grandparents will be better careers for their kids. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

Essay:

It is often argue that when parents at work, close relation provide the best care for children, while others suggest that childcare centers offer a best services for preschool’s children. In my opinion, I believe that both of these sides can help student from preschool age have a good preparation for primary, and that the optimal choice depend on parents.

To begin with, there are some merits of nursery school are complex education of basic ability such as reading, drawing, and of course discipline. They have a daily-routine timetable that allow students sustain order. Also speaking with another children have a positive influence, allow kids grow in a proper environment and make a lot of friends. These centers usually equipped with high standard facilities such as playground, lab and garden that allow their young customers learn about the natural world as well as participate in physical and intellectual activities. They also have professional caregivers, who are expert in child psychology and pedagogical methods. In spite of this, there have been recent high-profile cases of abuse within these kind of centers which make some parents wary.

On the other hand, population are highly increasing in recent years but places in kindergartens is less and many parents are stay in the queue in the government’s nursery school. But most of them cannot wait and allow grandparents or their kin take care of their children. Grandparents could usually provide undivided attention for their grandchild. Besides that grandparents could also watch out for potentially dangerous situation that kids may hurt themselves. In contrast, because of highly number of children in childcare centers make it difficult to caregivers to monitor every child at any given time. However, this is not advisable due to the fact that many relatives have an old-fashioned point-of-view. When children were young, they would imitate exactly what adults usually do. So the old-fashioned habits of their grandparents or old relatives and lack of communication with peers can have negative influences on their behavior in the future.

In conclusion, both childcare centers and grandparent’s care can bring a good influences to children. However, in my opinion I believe that there are some issues related to trust, the high quality of service provided by daycare professional trumped that of unqualified family members.

You make lots of mistakes with subject-verb agreement, plural versus singular nouns, clause structure, verb forms and using the wrong parts of speech (e.g. adjectives for nouns.)
