Topic: the widespread use of the Internet gives people more freedom at home instead of going to work or college. Do you think its advantages outweigh the disadvantages?

The common use of the Internet makes people more comfortable when at home than attending work or college. While there are both benefits and drawbacks to this issue, I would argue that is it is outweighed by the advantages.

On the one hand, the popularity of using the Internet may cause some disadvantages. First, sitting in front of a computer screen for a long time might leads to serious health problems. Studies show that waves from computer and wifi devices can cause headaches and mental disorders. This would have a negative impact on the ability to deal with tasks and assignments, bringing bad results. Second, using the Internet too frequently prevents employees and students from interacting with their fellows. Thus, they might lose the chance to build such strong relationship with their colleagues, which is really useful for their jobs as well as their own lives.

On the other hand, I believe that the widespread of Internet usage is beneficial in many aspects. One reason is that people use the Internet to work or study at home can save a lot of time. They could send their tasks or reports via the Internet without worrying about being late because of traffic congestion. Therefore, they have plenty of time to take part in many outdoor activities to keep them healthy. Moreover, the Internet is an unlimited resource to earn a living. There are now lots of housewives trying to sell products online through social networks such as Facebook or Instagram, resulting in a huge profit and a more prosperous life.

In conclusion, although Internet common usage has its own pros and cons, it seems to me that there are more benefits.
