Writing task 2 about TELEVISION . Check it for me please

Question : In some families there is more than one television in the home, with each family member even having their own TV?

Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of having more than one TV set per home.

In the present world, modern people access to technology frequently and easily. Therefore, it may be normal when there are more than one television in per household and each family member even possess their own TV. This essay will discuss the benefits and also the drawbacks of this development.

Having more than a TV set in per home may bring about some advantages. Firstly, If every member has their individual television, the others may not be annoyed any more. For example, If there was just only one television, the other members might be disturbed while a person was watching TV because of the TV's noise. Moreover, they are also able to watch their favorite TV channel without worrying interruption. For instance, when the children are captivated to a cartoon film, but the adults would like to watch news or other TV shows, so offsprings may need to give up watching for adults. This occasionally makes the argument among members because the differences in their interest.

On the other hand, purchasing many TV sets in a household leads to disadvantages. To begin with, electricity bill will increase because televisions are used at the same time. People have to pay twice as much or even three times and four times as much. Furthermore, if every member has their own TV, they may not care much other activities. Because they are totally attracted to their favorite programs, less daily conversations are made among members. Instead of sitting in front of the TV whole the time, children should take part in playing sports or building relationships with their friends and family. In addition, this development has detrimental effect to children's health. The blue-screen time not only makes them really hard to sleep, but it also results in eye strain. Thirdly, parents can not take over control what their offsprings do. Children may come across to watch channels which are not suitable to the children's impressible age such as violent movies and pornographic programs without under their parent's supervision.

To sum up, there are both benefits as well as glaring shortcomings when there are more than one TV set in a family. However, the less or the more harmful impacts depends on the way people use that technological item.
