Topic: Outdoor recreation such as mountain climbing, camping and hiking bring us closer to nature and are ideal activities to encourage family bonding. Discuss.

The past 50 years has seen a considerable increase in the number of families preferring outdoor activities to indoor recreation in order to relax. It is believed that outdoor recreation not only encourage people to commune with nature but also bond family closer.

First and foremost, outdoor recreation offer parents and children the chance to socialize, which is a way to get closer to nature. To explain this, thanks to planning hikes or visiting nature preserves, parents could foster a love of the outdoors in their children, which is conducive to raising the environment. When children love nature, they will appreciate the importance of nature; therefore, they could raise their awarenesses of protecting the environment. It goes without saying that there would be no where for outdoor recreation in the world if the environment continues deteriorating.

In addition to bring human closer to nature, outdoor recreation are also means for people to establish family bonds. More specifically, participating in sports and recreation provides kids to seniors with a chance to spend time together, which strengthen the family as an unit. What's more, taking part in outdoor activities opens up opportunities for parents and children make unforgettable memories together and increases family happiness.

In conclusion, bringing people closer to Mother Nature and bonding family are two most important merits of outdoor recreation.
