"It is observed that in many countries not enough students are choosing yo study science subjects. what are the cause? and what will bes the effect on society?"

In recent years, more and more student avoid opting for studying subjects related to science and this becomes an incresingly trend in many countries. while some reasons behind this problem can be identified, i would argued that it has a serious impact on several aspects of society.

There are two main reasons why science subjects are not attractive to most students. Firstly, sciences might usually be attributed as one of the most complicatied subjects including physics, chemics or biology. Since such subjects are widely perceived as high demanding in terms of both workload and intelligence, those who find it dificulf at the first sight could give up easily. Secondly, science students is usually related to the image of greek person and bookworm as well, that would bring about the misjudgement to these subjects as a result. In numerous Tv programs, for example, experts or scientists may be portrayed as boring man with the whole life devoting for researching.

It is obvious that this tendency would lead to various negative affects on society. One significant result is the shortage of labours who work in scientic fields, not only scientists in physic and chemics, but also employees working in other sectors. Henceforth, this will, in turn, affect the national development, essential elements for raising living standards. Another serious influence is that unemployment would definitely expanse in other fields. A survey conducted by United Nation, for instance, has shown that there was a sharp increase in the level of graduated unemployment in France due to the lack of job opportunities in artistic and humanitarian sectors.

In conclusion, the dangers of shifting away from studying science subjects are no longer strange and its causes could be addressed urgently.
