my essay:

Students have different views about learning history. While some students believe that history is very monotonous and dry to study, I believe that learning history is very stimulating depending on the way we learn.

The first measure would be to allow student to use the Internet and computers to access the information about history. Students nowadays are very keen on accessing the Internet and smart enough to use the computer, we therefore encourage them to do this in learning history. For instance, teachers support their students to search for information about historical figures online. By doing this, studying history is more exciting and easy to remember as well.

Another solution we can use is to make tours for children to visit historical sites. Going to a local archaeological site or a famous place in war is the best way to change theory to practice and penetrate history logically. Consequently, students would not find history boring as they have thought before as well as more interested in it.

Finally, doing written projects also a good way to make learning history more exciting. This skill is not only important in history but also necessary in other subjects. For example, students should be assigned to make poster about local history and present about it as well. This means that they would collect information, process data and use communicative competence to complete the assignment. As a result, these skills can be applied in other subjects, not only in school but also in their life.

In conclusion, various measures can be taken to tackle the problems in learning history to make this subject more interesting and helpful for students.
