Hi, I'm going to have my Ielts exam in December for the certification of B2 level, but my writing skills aren't so good. Could you correct my essay?
Fatherhood ought to be emphasised as much as motherhood. The idea that women are solely responsible for deciding wheter or not to have babies leads on to the idea that they are also responsible for bringing the children up.
Lots of people think that the role of the father is less considered than mother's by children. For this reason , they say that the importance of fatherhood has to rise to the same level of motherhood.
In my opinion this should happen, but sure the education of children needs bothparents, because to educate them it needs the mother's lovely embrace and the father's strong guide, so the behaviours must be differentiated.
In one hand, in our culture the father has always been the point of reference of the family for his autority of leader of the house, so also nowadays in the majority of the cases when a family has to make a decision the father's opinion is often considered a lot.
On the other hand, it's true that usually a child talk about the "mum's orders", but we know that he asked not only to the mother, but above all to the father for the important things of life.
Likewise, the fact that motherhood seems more emphasised than fatherhood is also for the reason that children are daily in conctat with the mother because, for example, they see her always at home after school. In contrast, they see the father only in the evening and maybe not everyday, if he has to work hard.
To sum up, fathers are important as much as mothers, but in different ways: their work is to suggest the best choices to their sons while they are growing up.
Could anyone help with this please?
