[Writing task 2]

Governments should spend money on railways rather than roads. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

In this day and age, the need of people in related to transportation witness in many countries. While I agree that the governmental leaders ought to allocate money for railroads instead of roads, I believe that there are some benefits for investing money on roads of the national authorities.

On the one hand, the investigation of the government in raiways has some advantages. The most persuasive evidence is that people utilizing trains can save time because the speed of trains is faster than that of vehicles. For example, in Japan, students often use trains with a view to going to schools, therefore, they just waste one to two hours to go in lieu of having to waste three to four hours when they go by buses or cars. Furthermore, the cost of constructing rairoads is cheaper than that of erecting roads. Thus the governments can save budget so as to invest on others including education or health.

On the other hand, I think that there are several advantages for investigating on roads of the governments. Firstly, the number of people favor using vehicles is higher, since it is more convinient for people in using vehicles including cars, bikes or buses. For instance, citizens will use individual vehicles or buses so as to go to market, instead they have to buy tickets and wait to be able to use trains. Secondly, in all likelihood, roads are of importance in some emergency conditions. For example, if some one is injured, and they need to be brought hospitals which is the nearest where they are staying, hence, the use of vehicles is neccesary as oppose to using trains because in all probability, railways will not be erected at all location.

In conclusion, owing the aforementioned arguments, I consider that although the allocation for railways is positive in some terms, I think that the governments need to focus on constructing roads.
