The bar compares the proportion of men and women who were obese in Australia between 1980 and 2010. Looking at the chart, the majority trend went upward from the 80's to the 00's. However, the trend declined since the begin of the new decade.
For 30 years, the proportion of females who were fat increased higher than males proportion 0.03% although males proportion had higher than females proportion. In 1900's, the portion of outsize men were remained in 40% area while opposite gender shown a significantly change, about 10%.
Turning to the new decade, the portion of men sharply raised more than 10% then gradually dropped in the next 10 years. On the other hand, the portion of woman changed steadily and remained more than 50% from the begin of the new decade to 2010.
