The plans below show the layout of a university’s sports center now, and how it will look after redevelopment.

This is my essay:

The diagrams illustrate the proposed changes in the sports center of a university.

Overall, this is noticeable that the sports center will be expanded from east to west after taking advantage of the space of the outdoor courts. There will be more types of sporty areas constructed while remaining the main present facilities.

Looking at the first map, there is a 25-meter pool in the middle of the seating room and changing room without any planned modification. The reception is built in front of the pool and the gym is behind it at the moment. Outsides space is spent on two outdoor courts which is lying under proposed construction.

According to the existing plan, a sports hall will be built along the east of this center accompany with the enlargement of the gym and the construction of two dance studios. Along the west of the center, it tends to be a leisure pool which has a unique shape in contrast to the present pool. The development plan includes another two changing rooms, a sports shop and a coffee in both side of the road to the reception.
