Writing task 1: renewable energy

Please help me check and correct this essay, thank you so much


The bar chart compares 4 countries in terms of renewable energy as the percentage of the total supply in 3 different years.

Overall, the proportions of renewable energy in Norway and Iceland were much higher than the other two countries. Moreover, Norway and Germany showed growth trends.

In 2000, Norway had the highest percentage of the total energy was supplied by renewable, at 61%. The close second percentage was registered in Iceland with 51%. Whereas, the figures for Australia and Germany were much lower, respectively at 9% and 12%.

In 2004, all the bars of all the countries went up, 10% in Australia, 15% in Germany, almost 50% in Iceland, about 66% in Norway and still made it on the top on the graph. However, in 2007, while the proportion of Norway and Germany continued to rise a peak of 79% and to 55% respectively, the figure for Australia and Iceland decline marginally, at 9% and 18% sequentially
