The pie charts provide information of Australian students do job after graduating from secondary school in 1980, 1990 and 2000.

Overall, throughout the years the proportion of this group of Australian students who were employed was growing, while there was a decline in the portion of those continued to learn higher level of education.

The percentage of students who had a job after graduating from secondary school was, from 40% in 1980 to 50% in 1990 and in 2000, the figure reached at 55%, which was highest in all categories. In contrast, the proportion of those who went to toward higher education level accounted for 37% in 2000, which figure had a top in 1980, at 50% after that decreased by 12% in 1990 and 1% in 2000 respectively.

On the other hand, those who after graduating from secondary school had an unemployment made up lowest, under 13.% in all the period given.
