The two maps below show an island, before and after the construction of some tourist facilities.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Write at least 150 words.

The two maps provided show how an island developed because of some addition of tourists facilities.

At first glance it is clear that there was a significant change of the island over the time period, with the appearance of a wide range of means of both entertainment, service and accommodation. The island, however, remained unchange for its size and there was no movements of trees after years.

In the east and the west of the island, the blank area has been taken up to make way for inhabitants which were linked by new footpath. Another kind of way is vehicle track which was used to lead vehicle from service locations such as reception and restaurant to the pler built toward the sea.

Taking a further look to the west of the island, the wild beach has been modified, following by the appearance of a destination allowing residents to swim. In contrast, going in for the opposite direction of the island, the east, a small change has been happened that two of single trees have been chopped down, which provided more space to a further development of the island.
