Writing task 1 - Line grap

The line graph illustrates the amount of fast food consumed in UK between 1970 and 1990.

It is clear that the consumption of fish and chips and hamburgers experienced an upward trend while the amount of pizza was eaten steadly decreased in the period.

In 1970, fish and chips and hambuger that consumed by UK people were nearly 80grams and 40grams a week. Fish and chips showed sharply change with more than a threefold increase from 100grams in 1975 to 500grams in 1990, while the number of pizza reduced. Hamburger that was eaten by UK people also significantly increased from nearly 100grams in 1980 to approximately 300grams per week in 1990.

In 1970, the amount of pizza is the highest (over 300 grams) among three types of fast food consumed in UK . However, it moderately declined to 200grams in 1985. Then it was slight growth of 10grams in 1990, but pizza was the lowest in the end of the period.
