Between 1996 and 1997, people showed their preference for two sorts of devices, which are CD player and media computer, with 60 percent and 30 percent, respectively. Meanwhile, mobile phonehad just 20 percent used. For two years, up to 1999, while CD player rose gradually by about five percent, there was an equivalent in the figure for home computer and mobile phone, followed by an increase of approximately ten percent each items
At that time, Internet, which is a new modern invention, used in UK, rose dramatically to above 40 percent in 2003. On the other hand, despite a variation between 1999 and 2000/2001, mobile phone peaked at 20 percent, in addition, computer used at home went up steadily about 10 percent each year
