The bar chart illustrates the UK telephone calls split into three different genres from 1995 to 2002. Units are measured by minutes in billions.


As the whole, the local fixed-line calls registered the bulk of the length calling on the whole, after which this category was fell back. By contrast, this duration of mobiles and national and international fixed-line sharply increased.


Commence with just over 3 in 1995 to nearly 10 billion minutes in three years later, the mobiles underwent a strong improvement in the number of calling minutes. Incredibly, the figure soared from 10 to 45 in the last year. Similarly, local fixed line, the top level of usage, showed an exponential trend from 1995 to 1999 with approximately over 70 and reached a peak at 90, respectively. However, this data started to fall sharply from this top year.


In respect of the national and international type starting at under 40 billion minutes in1995 rose marginally in 1996 and climbed the highest number about 60 in 2002.
