The line graph gives information about the proportion of New Zealand population between 1950 and 2050.
It is clear that the proportion of people aged over 65 is anticipated to experience the most noticeable change.Additionally, predictions reveals that the percentages of people in the both age groups of 0-14 and 38-45 will rise slightly whereas those of people aged 25-37 and over 65 will decline gradually.
In 1950,the proportion of over 65-year-old people in New Zealand was ranked as the first place at 60%,while that of people aged 0-14 was significantly lower,at approximately 9%.At the same time, the percentages of people in the 25-37 and 38-45 age group occupied 20% and 22% of the total New Zealand population respectively.in 2000,the proportion of people aged 25-37 exceeded that of 0-14-year-old-people with 10%.Simultaneously,the proportion growth of people aged over 65 and 38-45 slightly went down in this year.
In 2050,it is anticipated that the proportion of over 65-year-old people will fall steadily to approximately 51% and still stay the highest figure in the line graph, whereas that of 25-37 year olds will experience a shaft fall of 20% to 0%.In the same year, expectations indicate the proportions of people who were 0-14 and 38-45 will grow gradually by roughly 19% and 31% respectively.[[image:#rtxp8x7c3v2x.png|
