Writing Task 1 - IELTS

The table below shows the average monthly rainfall in two different cities.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The table shows the number of average rainfall in each month in Woodsville and Blacksboro. There are considerable different between fain amount in two cities.

In Woodsville, the number of average rainfall fell in certain months. The amount of rainfall in November reached the highest number, with 6 inches. Then, the number of rain quantity decreased steadily after November. The month has the lowest average was July, with only 0.75 inches, and the number begin to rise slightly after that month.

In Blacksboro, the figure dropped in a long period. February has the highest average of rainfall, with 4 inches. After February, the number fell steadily during 6-month period and achieved 0.01, which was the lowest number, in July. And it started to rise again in August.

Overall, although the number of rainfall in two cities are different, the averages tend to fall in certain periods before start to rise again in both cities.
