The charts given illustrate the proportion of monthly household income allocated to various items between low income group and high income group in European.
It is evident that the largest portion of low income group was food and drink whereas the miscellaneous represents the bulk proportion of high income group, the opposite was true of remaining restaurant/hotels and clothing
Regarding the charts provided about low income group, the largest percentage of household paid for food and drink was aproximately a third (29%) which was higher compared to fuel bills and recreation/culture with 24% and 11% respectively. The portion of miscellaneous was 2 times larger than the transport with 18% and only a minimal rate of household purchared for restaurant/hotels, clothing ranging froom 4% to 5%.
It can be seen from the chart given about high income group, the percentage of miscellaneous was ranked in the first with 23%. Three-seconds was the portion constituted by food and drink while there was 16% of household being expensed on transport . finally, the figure for recreation/culture and resaurant/hotels was 3 times and twice as much as higher than fuel bills and clothing.
