The line graphs illustrate the amount of money spent on children’s involvement in sports and the figure for children who played three different sports throughout the given 4-year period from 2008 to 2014

Overall, It can be seen that parents put more money into children’s sports throughout the given period. Interestingly, while the number of children who participated in athletics and swimming witnessed an upward trend, there was not many changes in football participants in the same period.

Regarding the first graph, began in 2008 with 20 pounds per month, this figure increased gradually throughout the year and reached its peak in 2014, at more than 30 pounds monthly.

Regarding the second graph, started with beyond 7. 5 million children involved in soccer, 2. 5 million of that took up swimming and very few children, approximately under 1 million chose athletics as one of their sports. Afterward, the number of football increased slightly by 0. 3 million in the final year. In addition, the figure for swimming increased steadily by around 1. 25 million at the end of the period, whereas that of athletics remained stable in the first two years, before a dramatic growth in the middle two-year period and then it leveled off in the last two years.
