[ Writing task 1 ; General IELTS ] I would like to have some feedback from you guys, I am learning English on my own, so I really appreciate it if you guys could help me point out my mistakes

Here is my letter :

To whom it may concern

I am writing about the room we stayed in at your hotel the other day. It was not the room we booked in advance, unfortunately, there were no other rooms available at the time ; therefore, it cost us some extra money to find a room at another hotel, I want to know if you could give me something to make up for it.

We had made a reservation on your website when we came to check-in, it turned out to be a different room. The room was far smaller than the room we had booked, in addition, it didn't overlook the beach as being mentioned before.

We decided to stay in another room but when I informed the receptionist, we were told that every room was fully booked. Although we gave some solutions, the receptionist didn't agree on any solution to make it up to us.

AS ALREADY MENTIONED ABOVE, one of our friends had to stay at another hotel, it was very inconvenient at the time and took us too much time due to the checking in process. So, I would like to get a discount or a refund from your hotel.

I hope you are willing to accept my solution.
