The diagram illustrates the lifecycle of a frog from eggs to mature one.
Overall, a frog egg will experience three intermediate stages of development before becoming a mature frog.
The first stage begins with mating between male and female frogs. The female frog lay her eggs on the surface of the pond, known as frogspawn, and then the male one fertilizes them. After few days, small tadpole emerges, which has no legs but a long tail. After that, he or she hatches out of the egg to outside. The tadpole develops the hind limbs. A few weeks later, young frog is evolved from a tadpole, which has shorter tail and develops the forelimbs. Young frog eventually becomes mature frog with no tail, which is able to jump around the pond. It gradually grow in size to a certain period when it becomes an adult frog, which is ready to mate. The cycle will continue again.
