Writing task 1: Car production in the US

Please help me to check and correct this essay, thanks a lot!

The line graph illustrates how long four companies produce a car in the USA between 1998 and 2005.

Overall, the average time taken to produce a car in the US by four car manufactuers decreased over the period. General Motor reduced the time of car production by more hours than the other companies.

In 1998, General Motor took the longest time to produce a car, at exactly 32 hours. The second longest time spent on the car production is by Ford, at 28 hours per vehicle. Also, Ford is the company where reached a peak at about 31 hours in 2001. In the same year, Toyota and Honda had the same starting figure at correctly 22 hours.

Over some variations, all the lines on the graph went down in 2005. Toyota and Honda once again had the same the amount of time spent on the production of a car, which took the shortest time, at exactly 20 hours. General Motor started with the highest amount of time used on the car production in 1998 then in 2005 they reduced 10 hours than before, at 22 hours. Likewise as the other companies, Ford was a fall at approximately 21 hours in 2005
