The line graph illustrates the percentage of people using the Internet in the USA, Canada, The line graph illustrates the percentage of people aged over 65 in three countries namely the USA, Japan, and Sweden over a century starting from 1940.
Overall, it can be seen that the number of citizens who over 65 in Japan was lowest at the beginning, however, there is a dramatic increase will be predicted at the end.
In 1940, the figure for the percentage of the group of residents from 65 years old and over in the USA was highest about 8%, while the proportion in Sweden and Japan was 7%, and 5% respectively. By 1980, the percentage of people from 65 years old and over experienced a steeply decline to just under 3%, meanwhile the figure for the USA and Sweden rise significantly.
In 2000, there was an upward trend in the percentage of people aged over 65 in Japan, which continuously grow, and hit a peak of 27% in 2040. A gradual fall in the figure for people who over 65 years old in the USA in 2000 about under 15%, and a little smaller percentage in comparison with Sweden about under 20%.
