Writing task 1 - bar chart

Please help me correct the essay

The Bar graph bellow shows the Expenditure in Million Pounds on fast food items by income groups in the UK.

The bar graph compares the consumption of three different types of fast food by three groups, namely high income, average income and low income in the UK in the year 1990.

It is obviously that the amount of fast food consumed by high income group was higher than those by the others groups. Overall, Hamburger was the most popular kind of food in the UK in 1990.

The amount of Hamburger in high income category was highest, with over 40 million pounds, whiles the figures for average and low income groups were approximately 32 million pounds and just under 25 million pounds respectively. High income group spent as much Fish and Chips as low income group, at over 15 million pounds whereas average group consumed more Fish and Chips than the rest of groups, with exactly 25 million pounds.

By contract, the spending on Pizza on three groups was lowest. Just under 20 million pounds and around 12 million pounds were paid out for Pizza in high income and average income groups respectively, compare to slightly over 5 million pounds in low income group.
