The graph below show how elderly people in Europe spent their free time between 1980 and 2010.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Overall, the percentage elderly people in Europe who spend their free time on entertainment has been increasing/rising since 1980s. There are five popular activities: reading, hiking, going to the theatre, playing sport and surfing the internet. These activities have been generally increasing in popularity among the elderly, except going to the theatre.
In the 1980s, playing sport was the most popular activity, it was slowly increased over these year, reached its peak in 2000 and then decreased, it is still one of the popular activities nowadays but not the first choice.
The largest increase has been for hiking, hiking has been increasing steadily throughout the years, from 20% to 80% and becoming a most popular activity among this group.
In 1980, elderly people enjoyed going to the cinema more than reading, hiking or surfing the internet, but in 2010 we can see going to see a movie is not the second favorite entertainment in popularity.
