Writing task 1

The diagram illustrates a linear process of one of the ways in which newspapers can be printed that is called lithography.

Overall, the manufacturing process requires six stages beginning with sending the papers to the machine and ending with prepared newspapers.

At first, the plate should be transferred to the cylinders. Before getting colored by ink rollers, they become moist by dampening rollers which are installed to a small water container. Then the colored patterns pass through two cylinders. In the next stage, the myriad of white papers are sent into the machine with a blanket cylinder’s circular motions so that the images can be printed on them by pressing the colored plate on white papers.

Subsequently, an impression cylinder directs the printed images to the front of the lithography machine. Next, they should be dried with high and low temperatures respectively which will be done by four cold and hot dryers. Finally, the newspapers are ready to be distributed.
