The line graph compares the weekly consumption of different types of fast food in UK during the period from 1970 to 1990. Overall, the Fish & Chips and the Hamburger had an increasing trend. In contrast, the Pizza's consumption stably decreased through this period.

In 1970, the amount of Pizza consumed per week was highest, at more than 300 grams, compared with under 50 grams in Hamburger. Meanwhile, approximately 80 grams of Hamburger was consumed by UK inhabitants. After, this figure for Pizza sharply decreased and reached the lowest point of above 200 grams, whereas, the consumption of remaining fast food types both significantly rose.

In 1990, Fish & Chips weekly consumption reached a peak of 500 grams become the fast-food type was the most favorite in UK. While Hamburger's weekly consumption rose about 300 grams, more than data for Pizza 100grams, which had only above 200 grams consumption per week
