The line graph gives information about what types of domestic access to modern devices was changed in British homes from 1996 to 2003.

Overall, the trend was upward. At the first glance, CD player had the highest propotion at all time, rose from 60% to more than 80%.

The home computer and the Internet access were also increased over the period. There was a rise for the former, started at more than 20% and ended the year at approximately 60%. Furthermore, even the Internet access appeared later than the other three genres of domestic access, but there was still a significant growth. Appeared on 1998 at approximately 10% and ended the year up to more than 40%.Between 1996 to 1999, the percentage of mobile phone was about double, from just under 20% to more than 40%, and then flattened out to 2000. After that, there was a significant climb to roughly 70% in 2003.

It is noticeable that CD player is the most popular access to modern technological devices in homes in United Kingdom over the period.
