WRITING TASK 1

The table presents data about the amount of waste production on six nations from 1980 to 2000.

Overall, United State was always the highest amount of waste production city among those places. On the other hand, Ireland, Poland and Portugal had the lowest quantity in the table.

Out of the six countries, waste production of American was noticeably higher at 191 millions of tonnes and went up gradually at 151 and 192 millions of tonnes respectively over the time given. Japan and Korea showed a similar trend between 1980 and 2000. While Japan enjoyed a steady increase from 28 to 53 millions of tonnes, Korea rise from zero to 31 millions of tonnes before dropping to 19 millions of tones ten years later.

The figure for Ireland, Poland and Portugal saw the lowest amount of waste production in 1980 was 0,6; 4 and 2 millions of tonnes respectively, then it increased slightly to 5; 6,6; 5 millions of tonnes for next 20 years.
