Topic:
Wild animals have no place in the 21st century, so protecting them is a waste of resources. To what extend do you agree or disagree?
My essay:
In recent days, animals are a highly controversial topic. Some people comment that spending money on the protection of wild animals is a waste of the country’s budget as these animals contribute nothing to human's life. I totally disagree with this view.
In my point of view, it is a ludicrous idea that wild animals have no place in the 21st century. I believe that the earth does not exist for the only benefit of human. Human does not give the lives for any species that means that humanity has not the right to allow or encourage the extinction of any wild animals. Furthermore, there is no compelling reason for a human to push wild animals to the edge of extinction. Having plenty of rooms for animals can live side by side people, such as amazon jungle is about 7.000.000 km2 which is a suitable environment for animals to survive.
I also believe that it can be underestimated the value of protecting wild animals. These animals contribute to healthy ecosystem. The migration of some species can provide changes of the environment. Base on it, scientists can locate the health status of an ecosystem. As a result, they can draw a conclusion which assists them to encounter any distress factors for human's life.
To sum up, all the existing data has provided a concrete foundation that the presence of wild animals is crucial for the living of humans under any circumstances.
